Estelle Power Featured in The Fenestration Insider's Industry Leaders Series

Irish Door Systems (IDS) founder and director Estelle Power has been featured in The Fenestration Insider‘s Industry Leaders series, a global platform celebrating the people shaping the future of fenestration.

The profile, “Opening Doors to Excellence: The Estelle Power Story“, follows her career across the door, fenestration, architectural steel and entrance automation industries, and the founding of IDS in Cork in 2006.

While the feature highlights Estelle’s professional journey, it also reflects the wider IDS story and what an Irish manufacturing business built on skill, innovation and determination can achieve. Every IDS success is made possible by our team, from the craftsmanship that brings each product to life to the dedication, resilience and commitment that ensure we keep delivering for our clients.

This recognition belongs to everyone, past and present, who has contributed to the IDS journey. Thank you to Maurica Finley, CEO and Founder of The Fenestration Insider, for giving IDS a place on the global stage.

Craftsmanship as part of our culture

Pride in the work runs through every stage, from the precision of the engineering and manufacturing to the quality of the final finish and installation. Estelle describes craftsmanship as “more than a production capability” and an integral part of the IDS culture.

Collaboration across every team

Design, technical, manufacturing, installation and service teams work together and share knowledge. That lets us look at complex briefs from every angle and deliver solutions that are technically sound, commercially practical and architecturally accomplished.

Investing in people and technology

IDS invests in emerging technologies, research and development, specialist training and original product solutions. Estelle also mentors emerging talent and encourages more women to build careers in steel, engineering and manufacturing.

IDS is an award-winning fabricator certified for Forster, Schüco Jansen and RP Technik systems, with multiple projects named Irish Steel Awards finalists.

See how that expertise applies in our architectural steel doors and windows and our automatic doors.
